The following sections outline the technologies that were used to create these sites:
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system which is the foundation of this site. 41% of the web is powered by WordPress, from hobby blogs to listed companies.
Most hosting services offer packages that come with WordPress pre-installed. Visit our Recommended WordPress Web Hosting section to see possible solutions.
WooCommerce is a free ecommerce extension that makes it possible to sell both physical and digital goods on a WordPress website.
FooEvents is built for WooCommerce and adds additional functionality that makes it possible to sell access to events, venues and bookable services. FooEvents consists of the core FooEvents for WooCommerce plugin and a series of optional extensions that add additional functionality. You can also use the free FooEvents Check-ins app to manage attendee access at your event.
- FooEvents for WooCommerce (core)
- FooEvents Bookings
- FooEvents Custom Attendee Fields
- FooEvents PDF Tickets
- FooEvents Calendar
- FooEvents Express Check-in
- FooEvents Multi-day
- FooEvents Seating
This site uses a free theme called Astra. FooEvents works well with most WooCommerce compatible WordPress themes.
Some of the demos use the WooCommerce Min/Max Quantities plugin to sell groups of tickets. This is useful when selling grouped tables or group discounts for example. Tickets can be sold individually or grouped by variations. The WooCommerce Min/Max Quantities plugin can be purchased separately from the WooCommerce marketplace.
If you would like to request access to an admin demo environment where you can test out all the latest FooEvents plugins from the WordPress back-end, please complete this form and we’ll send you a custom link that will be valid for 24 hour.
