This is a demo site that showcases how to sell tickets and access to all types of events, venues and bookable services using the FooEvents plugins. The following sections outline the technologies that were used to create this site.

WordPress is a free and open-source content management system which is the foundation of this site. 41% of the web is powered by WordPress, from hobby blogs to listed companies.

WordPress can be downloaded from WordPress.org and installed on any hosting service that supports the minimum requirements.

Most hosting services offer packages that come with WordPress pre-installed. Visit our Recommended WordPress Web Hosting section to see possible solutions.

WooCommerce is a free ecommerce extension that makes it possible to sell both physical and digital goods on a WordPress website.

FooEvents is built for WooCommerce and adds additional functionality that makes it possible to sell access to events, venues and bookable services. FooEvents consists of the core FooEvents for WooCommerce plugin and a series of optional extensions that add additional functionality. You can also use the free FooEvents Check-ins app to manage attendee access at your event.

WordPress Theme

This site uses a free theme called Astra. FooEvents works well with most WooCommerce compatible WordPress themes.

Third-Party Plugins

Some of the demos use the WooCommerce Min/Max Quantities plugin to sell groups of tickets. This is useful when selling grouped tables or group discounts for example. Tickets can be sold individually or grouped by variations. The WooCommerce Min/Max Quantities plugin can be purchased separately from the WooCommerce marketplace.
